Doux Dalliance is a specialty chocolate company that is in the process of selling Trinitario chocolate and nibs. The chocolate is 80% dark chocolate with 20% raw brown sugar. The cocoa bean is from a town called Grand Couva and is shipped to a factory in Montserrat. This unique chocolate has been around since the 1800s and slowly diminished in the late 1900s when the oil and gas industry took over. Our goal is to bring Trinidad chocolate into the United States and display this unique product to the world.
In the cocoa nibs, there is no sugar added and is extremely health beneficial. The nibs can be consumed by itself or can be added into smoothies, milkshakes, hot chocolate etc. These cocoa nibs are different than regular cocoa nibs because there is a fruit flavor in the beans that create the nibs.
We are in the process of creating a website for Doux Dalliance and getting corporate outreach from different companies to create unique chocolaty products. Our client, Blair Williams is originally from Trinidad and has wanted to bring Trinidad chocolate into the United States. Mr. Williams has been a part of the SEA for the past couple of semesters and plans to collaborate with us to sell the chocolate and cocoa nibs in Pittsburgh regions.
