On Saturday, March 18th, Brown Shugga’s hosted our very first "Purses and Paintings" silent auction event. It turned out to be a great success! We were able to raise money to continue toward our goal of opening our restaurant. Right now, Brown Shugga’s is focusing on events and catering until we are able to raise enough money to purchase property for a restaurant, catering, and event center. This is our goal.
At this particular event, we were able to feature some of our cocktail foods, drinks, and desserts. We also showcased how we could set up an event for 200 people. It was a great time! We had live entertainment from The Franchise, which was very awesome. We would like to thank everyone who attended this event to show their support.
We will soon be promoting a concert here in Slippery Rock, so stay tuned for further details. Our hope is to gain customers wanting to hire us for their events or special catering. If you need anything ... a baby shower, wedding, birthday party, luncheon, or any other event ... give us a call! We can also handle barbecue picnics. We are ready and willing to make your event special.
If you know anyone planning an event anytime soon, please consider telling them about Brown Shugga’s. We have reasonable and affordable pricing for all sorts of events. We know graduation is coming up soon for the university and high school students in the area. We are well-equipped to take care of graduation parties as well.
